Dandruff is a prevalent scalp condition affecting a significant portion of the population, often leading to discomfort and social concerns. Conventional anti-dandruff treatments rely on chemical formulations that may cause scalp irritation and long-term adverse effects. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal anti-dandruff washable oil using natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Reetha, Mustard Oil, and Sesame Oil. The formulation was prepared through herbal extraction and infusion techniques, ensuring a blend that is safe, effective, and easily washable. The developed oil was evaluated for its physicochemical properties, including pH, stability, washability, and foam formation. Anti-dandruff efficacy tests demonstrated a significant reduction in scalp flaking and irritation over a two-week period. The results indicate that the formulated herbal oil is a promising natural alternative to synthetic anti-dandruff products, offering improved scalp health with minimal side effects. Further studies and clinical evaluations are recommended to enhance its efficacy and commercial viability.
